We possess love, justice, mercy in measures, at different times.

He doesn’t possess them. He IS them.

That’s why when He judges, He’s not “balancing” competing traits He’s being fully Himself: just, righteous, faithful, holy, all at once, all the way.

“God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.” — 1 John 1:5

You can trust His character. Not because He tries hard to be good but because there’s no other way for Him to be.
