Jeremiah 29:11 wasn’t written to people leaving Babylon…

It was written to people learning how to honor God in Babylon.

God’s people were living in a place they never would have chosen — under an authority they didn’t agree with — yet God told them:
Build. Plant. Multiply. Pray.

Maybe the question isn’t only:?“God, how do I escape this assignment?”

Maybe it’s:?“God, how do I honor You in this assignment?”

You never know what God can do through one faithful witness.

Just ask Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. There were some of the people Jeremiah’s letter was meant to encourage!
