In the middle of a hot mess
When we are plopped in the middle of a less than ideal situation, our first reaction can often be to freeze and try to wait it out before we get back to "living". Scripture records a very encouraging letter to the exiles in Babylon from the prophet Jeremiah that we can learn volumes from today. God's heart is for you to thrive, regardless of the environment, you find yourself. What's in you is greater than what surrounds you!
