Comparison is a terrible compass.

In the Bible, three men lived in the same generation—yet their lives looked nothing alike:

* Daniel served in a pagan palace and influenced kings.

* Jeremiah wept, warned, and was rejected by his own people.

* Ezekiel had wild visions by the river and delivered messages in exile.

Same era.Same God.

Wildly different assignments.

And every one of them was right in the center of God’s will.

So if you’re trying to confirm you’re walking in God’s will… don’t look sideways.

Look here instead:

Fix your gaze on Jesus — the author and finisher of your faith. Check the fruit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. Look for effectiveness — the quiet impact that comes from consistency, not perfection.

Your calling won’t look like hers.It was never supposed to.
