I used to think witchcraft was something I’d never touch…
But Galatians 5 places it right next to idolatry in the list of the works of the flesh—and control has a sneaky way of slipping in.
@derek_prince_ministries once explained that witchcraft, at its core, is an attempt to control people—to make things happen your way using any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit.
Any time I manipulate, push, or try to manage the outcome, I’m trusting myself more than the Holy Spirit.
I’ve learned to pause and ask myself a few questions before I reach for the levers of control or manipulation:
Am I afraid God will forget me—or move too slowly?
Am I afraid someone else will take what God promised me?
Do I really think I can manage this better than God?Here’s what I know for sure: control and peace don’t coexist—ask me how I know.
Sister, we all have to choose what we’re going to walk in, and I urge you to choose wisely.
